Anthony has spent more than 16 years in sports journalism, writing for newspapers, magazines and online, most recently covering Major League Baseball at ESPN. Finding a home as an internal communications specialist at Valley Children’s Healthcare was a drastic career change, but one that was embraced because the skills were synergistic between the roles.

Anthony's past experience is now an ice-breaker, and his expertise in communications is what earns he and his team respect and attention across their organization – something that is sometimes overlooked in internal comms.
